I’m writing this in the Nashville airport at 5am. My flight has been delayed two hours and Real Housewives of Orange County won’t load, so here we are! I’m rolling out another list of incredible women that did some really cool things in October.
Complimenting someone’s appearance can mean a whole lot to them. BUT, it in the same breath, it could harm them, too. Actually, my reason for writing this post is because I did just that. A new friend of mine can eat anything and he seems to never gain a pound. I told him how jealous I was of that, and he shared with me that he’s actually had an eating disorder since his mother’s unfortunate passing. You can imagine what I felt like.
When I was a little girl, I hated wearing dresses. You can ask my mom how many Sunday mornings I screamed and cried as she slipped a floral dress over my head and slapped on a pair of white tights and lace socks. As a teenager, I went through phases of v necks, band tee’s, and oversized hoodies. Now, as an adult, I still refrain from wearing dresses. I’m most comfortable in a loose t and black jeans.
