The year is almost over! As I start to reflect on everything that’s happened this year, I am in awe and so THANKFUL. I have met so many amazing people. I’ve learned so much, and I am so excited to see what happens next. Many of us kick off the holiday season with Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is full of so many traditions. Football, mashed potatoes, stuffing, the list goes on.
After my last post, Coming Out as Vegan, I had a super interesting conversation with one of my mom-in-law’s, Wendy! I’ve been vegan for about a year and a half and was a vegetarian for three years before that. So, I’ve had plenty of time to adjust to eating out, eating at a friends, and so on. I haven’t had to think about in a long time, what it’s like for people to host me, a vegan! Honestly, I have like..zero expectations when I go out to eat or to a friends house. So I guess I’m easily impressed. BUT – I know when people host, they want their guests or friends to feel welcomed and well taken care of! So, I thought I’d share some tips on how to host a vegan.
